For fans like me, the amazing basketball events of last week — beautifully staged by Nike and the Basketball Hall of Fame, from Harlem to Springfield and back — might as well have been called the “World Basketball Orgy.”

This was part of the evolutionary process of basketball and it’s how many players made a decent living — it wasn’t much, and it wasn’t the big time, but at least they were playing the game they loved to play.

My Playing Basketball Is A Matter Of National Security That Could Help Change The World

The way I see it, if president-elect Obama plays basketball in order to keep a clear and level head during his decision making and strategic thinking, then his playing hoops becomes a matter of national security.
