Converse Pro Leather 1976

This is a Converse Pro Leather 1976 special commemorative shout out to the Black Fives Era of basketball.

The Pro Leather debuted in 1976 and was immediately embraced by the biggest stars of the game, most memorably by Julius “Dr. J” Erving.

Over time, tweaks, changes, even overhauls were made to the shoe. Now, Converse is returning the Pro Leather to its original form with an updated silhouette. They weathered and stained the leather upper, returned the original star and chevron side panel detail, and added the original release date (1976) to tongue. The shoe also features a distressed and recreated outsole.
