This is the away-game basketball jersey of Cumberland Posey, a star player with the Monticello Athletic Association of Pittsburgh during the 1910s.

Posey played with the Monticellos and other teams during the 1910s and early 1920s, and was considered the best African American basketball player of his time.

This jersey is a faithful reproduction using antique chenille embroidered lettering on sewn-down felt.
