The original Nike Vandal Low basketball shoe was introduced in 1984 and became an instant classic, especially due to its distinctive color-highlighted piping and knit-tape Velcro straps. The style was discontinued in 1987. The shoe was reintroduced by Nike as a retro sneaker culture classic. This version commemorates the Independent Pleasure Club of New Jersey.
