Nike Black Fives Footwear CategorySt. Christopher Club Legend Low

Team Red, Black, Varsity Red.

The original Nike Air Legend was introduced in 1983 and designed for N.B.A. players. It was the first shoe to feature color accent soles and foot liners. This style also originated the famous perforated toe that was later popularized with the Air Force 1. Patrick Ewing wore the Legend High while at Georgetown. This retro version commemorates the St. Christopher Club of Harlem (a.k.a. “Red and Black Machine”) basketball team.
