Black Fives, Inc. and Nike, Inc. create a licensing agreement whereby Nike begins producing retro classic sneakers and apparel commemorating the teams of the Black Fives Era.

2007
The Black Fives Blog is launched in October 2007.

2008
Converse, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nike, celebrates its 100th anniversary by creating vintage style basketball sneakers to commemorate the New York (Harlem) Rens and the Black Fives Era.
